We will sit down with you (or over the phone if you are not local) and discuss every aspect of designing, creating, hosting and costs before anything is done so you know what's involved with each step. Frequently asked questions:
If I already have an existing website, can you manage it?
Yes we can. We would prefer to move your site to our hosting site, but if you supply us with your cpanel log in info, we can manage your site where it's currently being hosted.
Can you move my website?
Yes. We will need to know where you are currently hosting your domain name, and the login info to redirect your site to our server. We will also need your your cpanel info. Contact your current host provider for this info if you don't already have it.
But what if I'm having problems with my current hosting provider and I can't get in touch with them to get the info you need?
We can replicate your site's content, but we will still need where your domain name is registered so we can redirect your customers to our server. We will be happy to try to contact your existing host for you.
Can you use my existing logo I've used on my business cards and brochures?
Yes! Our graphics team can "pull" colors from your existing logo and other graphics your using to design your new site around those existing designs and colors.
What happens if I want to add or remove pages later?
No problem. Extra pages can be created at a predetermined cost per page. And if you decide to downsize your site, your costs per page will be downsized too.
How long will it take for you to make me a site?
The time it takes to create a site depends on how long it takes to create the template, how many pages are made, what type of content goes on each page and how many "extras" you want. This can take a few weeks or a few months.
Can I add daily updates?
Yes you can. If you have a ftp (file transfer protocal) program, we can set up your account so you have ftp access, then you can do the updates whenever you wish. If not, we can update your site on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. If you're not sure when you will want updates, we can update your site whenever you contact us with the updated information, and usually have the new info on your site within 24 hours.
Can all of my employees have their own email addresses?
Yes. The cost will depend on the base package that you've chosen, but extra email accounts (10 megs) can be set up at $5.00 a month.
I have a website so I don't need a design, just a place to host it.
We will be happy to host your site for you. You will be giving ftp access so you can maintain your own site. Hosting prices are based on the size (megs) of your site.
What if I find a template out on the web that I want to use for my website instead of having you create one?
We are happy to use other designer's templates. Shareware templates are usually free, or on average less than $30.00, but you don't have the individual rights to them so others out on the web will be using the same design. The cost to buy a predesigned template can run from $1,500.00 to $5,000.00. When designing your project, we search free templates for you to try to find an existing template that will work within your needs. This can cut costs and time dramatically! But any changes made to the template will be charged as design costs.
When am I billed?
The creation and design portion of your website project will be predetermined and half of this will need to be paid for before creation begins. The 2nd half will need to be paid before the completion of your site. After that, hosting and updating costs can be paid monthly or yearly.
